Surgical Service

Otolaryngology is a medical specialty which is focused on the ears, nose and throat.

Surgical procedures include:

  • Ear tubes
  • Tonsillectomy
  • Abenoidectomy
  • Removal of skin lesions to head, neck or face

Dr. Thomas Benda, Jr. visits Jackson County Regional Health Center on the first and third Wednesday of every month. To schedule an appointment, please call 563-588-0506.

Dr. Melanie Giesler-Spellman visits twice a month, generally on Mondays.  To schedule an appointment, please call 563-652-7705.
