Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is a medical profession at bachelor’s, master’s and/or doctoral level of education in occupational therapy that utilizes comprehensive evaluation to help people of all ages who have physical, sensory or cognitive illness or disabilities. At Jackson County Regional Health Center, Occupational Therapy (OT) helps with barriers that affect the person’s emotional, social and physical needs by an individualized treatment plan and personal goals to restore your independence. We strive to provide a 1:1 ratio of care to evaluate, analyze findings and design a specific treatment plan to reach your goals. With a commitment to service excellence, we provide specific treatment programs expressly designed to meet your specific complaint or goal.
Here at Jackson County Regional Health Center we are unique to provide care and treatment to include inpatient services including 23-hour observation, Inpatient care and Skilled care services to improve the quality of care and provide discharge to home at highest level of function for you. We also provide Outpatient Occupational therapy for many commonly diagnoses including: Joint Pain and Movement Dysfunction, Post-Surgical Recovery, Developmental Delays, Arthritis, Fractures, Amputations, Burns, Carpel Tunnel syndrome, Chronic pain, nerve/tendon injuries, Neurologic Conditions and disorders, Lymphedema, sensory re-education, cumulative trauma and work conditioning.
