Technology at Jackson County

The department has two fully digital x-ray rooms and a digital portable x-ray machine. The images that are taken with these machines are of the highest quality and can be transmitted electronically to our Radiologists and local providers. Radiation doses are lower with digital radiography and images are produced immediately on a screen for the technologist to view, before sending off to the radiologist.
