Jackson County Hospital offers a welcoming Fitness Center for employees, retirees, patients, and community members. Located within our Physical Therapy and Wellness Services department, the Fitness Center promotes long-term wellness in a supportive, medically-informed environment.

Membership & Pricing

Orientation Fee (One-Time):
$20 per person

Includes:

  • Health review
  • Baseline cardiac and balance assessments
  • Equipment safety and usage training

Monthly Membership: $35 per person

Annual Membership: $350 per person

Who can use the Fitness Center?

Jackson County Hospital employees, retirees, former patients, and community members are all welcome.

Do I need to schedule an orientation?

Yes. A one-time orientation is required to ensure you’re safe and comfortable using the equipment.

Is the Fitness Center supervised?

While not staffed continuously, all users must complete orientation to ensure they can exercise independently and safely.

Can I use the equipment if I’ve recently finished physical therapy?

Absolutely. Many former patients use the Fitness Center as a transition into long-term wellness.

Can I drop in or do I need a membership?

Membership is required. Flexible monthly or annual plans are available.
