Dr. Loren Longenecker is a board certified general radiologist with subspecialty expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. He joined Mercy Radiologists of Dubuque in 2022. Originally from Dallas, Texas he received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and went to medical school at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his radiology residency at the University of Utah and did a one year musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of California at San Diego.  His passion and expertise is musculoskeletal imaging and has provided services for multiple professional and collegiate teams including Los Angeles Chargers (formerly San Diego), San Diego Padres, Austin FC and University of Texas athletics. Additionally, he has expertise in musculoskeletal interventional procedures as well as breast imaging and procedures and general biopsies. In his free time he enjoys traveling, playing golf, skiing, hiking and other outdoor activities.
