EMS Team Participates in Valuable Trainings

Our EMS team recently had the opportunity to train alongside Maquoketa Fire / Rescue in two important areas:

🔹 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Response Training from Snaith Family ASD Sensory Project – learning how to better recognize and support individuals on the autism spectrum during emergency situations. All 3 JCRHC ambulances and the emergency department now carry sensory bags to care for patients with ASD. Thank you Maquoketa Kiwanis Club for funding the sensory bags!
🔹 Grain Bin Rescue Training – working together to prepare for safe, coordinated responses to farming and agricultural emergencies.

We’re proud to work side-by-side with our fire department & rescue squad partners to ensure we’re always learning, improving, and ready to serve our community with compassion and care.
