Jackson County Regional Health Center (JCRHC) is pleased to announce it has earned two 2025 Performance Leadership Awards.
Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards program recognizes top quartile performance (75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes, and/or Patient Perspective. For 2025, JCRHC has proudly received the Quality Award and Patient Perspective Award.
“Jackson County Regional Health Center is proud to have received recognition in the form of awards from Chartis Performance Leadership 2025 Awards under the categories of Quality Award and Patient Perspective Award. These awards are a compliment to the members of our hospital team,” said Patrick Peters, CEO of JCRHC. “In addition, the hospital’s board and administration have set their sights on a goal of becoming named to next year’s Chartis Top 100 Critical Access Award list. This recognition certainly reflects that Jackson County Regional Health Center is well on its way.”
The Performance Leadership Awards program is based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a comprehensive and objective framework for assessing how rural hospitals are performing. INDEX benchmarks are relied upon by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations, and state offices of rural health to measure performance across multiple areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
