Hospital Foundation Joins Community Park Ribbon Cutting Celebration

The Jackson County Hospital Foundation was proud to participate in the recent ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating Glovik Community Park, a project made possible through the generosity of local donors and community partners.

As the sponsor of the sensory park, the Foundation was honored to support a space designed to promote inclusion, recreation, and wellness for individuals and families of all ages and abilities. The park reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to improving the health and wellness of our community.

“The sensory playground will provide opportunities for connection, activity, learning, and inclusive play, and we are proud to help make that possible. Seeing this vision come together is truly exciting, and we know it will positively impact families for years to come.” said Katie Bopes, Foundation Coordinator. “We are only able to support meaningful projects like this because of the incredible generosity of our community — the donors, supporters, volunteers, and advocates who believe in the mission of the Hospital Foundation and continue to invest in the future of local healthcare and community wellness.”

The Foundation extends its congratulations to all organizations, volunteers, and donors who helped bring the project to life. Community partnerships like this demonstrate the impact that can be achieved when local residents invest in the future of their community.

The Hospital Foundation also encourages residents to continue supporting local healthcare initiatives. Gifts to the Foundation help support hospital programs, equipment, services, and community projects that strengthen healthcare and wellness throughout the region.
